LIHEAP Announces Public Hearings on Its Model Plan for Fiscal Year 2022

The CNMI DCCA’s Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) announces a series of Public Hearings on its Model Plan for Fiscal Year 2022.

The Public Hearings will be on the following:

Saipan: Tuesday, August 3, 2021  – 5pm to 6pm at the Kagman Community Center
Tinian: Wednesday, August 4, 2021 – 5pm to 6pm at the Tinian Public Library
Rota: Friday, August 6, 2021 – 4pm to 5pm at the Sinapalo Youth Center

The purpose of these public hearings is to engage public participation and comments on the implementation of the Fiscal Year 2022 LIHEAP Model Plan to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for eligible household in the CNMI.

Copies of the LIHEAP Model Plan and the Agenda of the public hearing will be available for public inspection beginning, Friday, July 30, 2021. Copies may be picked up at the LIHEAP office in Garapan. Persons wishing to schedule testimony or receive a copy of the LIHEAP Model Plan should contact the DCCA-LIHEAP office at 664-2574/2578.
