ABOUT
The Commonwealth Respite Service Program (CRSP) provides primary caregivers with short-term relief from care giving for self-care, to run errands, or to take that much needed rest.

WHAT IS A PRIMARY CAREGIVER?
A Primary Caregiver is someone who provides care to a person, usually a friend or family member, who is no longer able to care for themselves. Primary Caregivers may be taking care of a child with special needs, a spouse or an elder with a terminal illness, or anyone who may require assistance with daily activities.

SERVICES

    • RESOURCE CENTER: The CRSP Resource Center is a comfortable space for primary caregivers that provides internet access, books of all genres, wellness activities and an opportunity for caregivers to get together and share helpful tips and stories to help relieve any stress they might be experiencing.

    • AT-HOME CARE: Registered primary caregivers of CRSP can avail of up to three (3) hours of Respite services per month. We have teamed up with Marianas Health Services to have a medical professional take care of your loved one when you need to take a break, run an errand or simply rest.

    • WELLNESS ACTIVITIES: Wellness Activities such as Taiji, Yoga, Painting, Gardening, Cooking and more are a few activities that we will be offering at the Resource Center. All activities are free to primary caregivers who are registered with the program.

  • PUBLIC SERVICES: We provide assistance with obtaining copies of forms you might need to complete to avail of public services, as well as with identifying the appropriate services for your individual needs and the needs of the person you are caring for.
